Critical Need: We have an urgent need for one president or two co-presidents to lead the PTSA for next year (2025-2026). We are at serious risk of not having a PTSA next year. Please know that it is doable to take on a role and collaborate with co-committee members so that the task does not feel so overwhelming.
Your PTSA actively supports:
- Camp (needs to be reserved in May for the next year)
- Field Trips
- In class Scholars in Residence
- Scholarships for students
PERKS OF THE ROLE
- LEND YOUR INDIVIDUAL STRENGTHS AND BUSINESS SAVVY TO RSAR BY:
- Working with Lead Teacher to support current and new programs in the classroom and larger community
- Identify and recommend areas for growth and improvement to current programs
- Collaborate with other parents in the community, building strong working relationships that ensure RSARs creative legacy and inspiring programs will continue for future generations.
Not having a person in the President role before the end of May means we do not have the ability to do business to prepare for next year. Not having a person in the President role by next year means we do not have a PTSA. If you would like to help make sure your student has access to camp, field trips and in classroom enrichment, please consider contacting current President Kate Thibodeau at President@rsarptsa.org to ask about job details and what it is really like on the renaissance school ptsa board.

SPRING ART SHOW (& POTLUCK!)
Flock Together is the theme of our 2025 Spring Art Show. Inspired by a Food Truck art project that our 8th graders do, we are hosting a potluck that is a chance for everyone to enjoy the cultural delights of our diverse student body while enjoying the artwork from our 6th, 7th and 8th graders. Library Wish List
